Terms of sale — clear, and written to be read.
These are the terms that govern purchases from mountzioneditions.com. We have tried to write them plainly.
The goods
Mount Zion Editions sells printed books (letterpress editions, sewn cloth binding) and digital editions (EPUB and PDF, DRM-free). Prices are in Canadian dollars inclusive of applicable tax.
Orders and payment
Orders are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payment is taken at the time of order.
Ebook orders are fulfilled immediately upon payment. Print orders are processed and shipped within five business days.
Shipping
We ship from Ottawa, Canada, via Canada Post and UPS. Standard delivery within Canada and the United States is 5–8 business days. Express delivery is 2–3 business days. International shipping varies by destination.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or third-party carriers.
Digital editions
Digital editions are delivered to your library at mountzioneditions.com immediately after payment. They are DRM-free and may be downloaded in EPUB and PDF formats. You may read them in Le Magasin Littéraire, our in-house reader, without a second login.
Digital editions are non-refundable once downloaded.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are charged at the time of order and shipped on or before the publication date. If a title is delayed, we will notify you by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
