We collect as little as we can, and we never sell it.
Mount Zion Editions is a small press, and our approach to your data is the same as our approach to publishing: we keep only what we need, we hold on to it carefully, and we never pass it on for profit.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the details required to fulfil it: your name, your shipping and billing address, your email address, and the contents of your order. When you write to us or subscribe to our seasonal letter, we keep your email address and your message.
We do not collect data we do not need. We do not build profiles. We do not track your reading behaviour beyond what is required to deliver the book you have purchased.
How we use it
Order data is used to process and ship your order. Your email address is used to send you an order confirmation and, if you opt in, a seasonal letter — never more than four times a year, and never for a purpose other than communication from the press.
Who we share it with
We share only what is strictly required:
- Stripe processes payment. We do not store your card details.
- Our shipping partner receives your name and address.
- Cloudflare routes our traffic. Standard logging applies.
We do not sell, rent, or license your data to any third party.
How long we keep it
Order and account data is kept for seven years for legal and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are held until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Write to contact@mountzioneditions.com and we will respond within two weeks.
